GnuPG is a complete and free replacement for PGP. Because it does not use the patented IDEA algorithm, it can be used without any restrictions. GnuPG is a RFC2440 (OpenPGP) compliant application. http://sourceforge.net/projects/winfilecrypt/ A simple Win32 application to encrypt and checksum files of any size. Uses 3DES cipher-block-chained encryption, with a 128 bit key. It makes it dirt simple to protect your sensitive files. Good for sending things over unsecured email, stuff like that. My review: Sweet! This thing is crazy fast and crazy easy. A must have for sending plain text, ms word, and acrobat docs via email securely. In some cases, I've actually sent an entire message...

This site is my personal periodical for design, code, business and other topics. When I'm not glued to the computer, I enjoy music, movies, late-night television and sometimes a good night out on the town with friends.
I began professional work in the IT industry 12 years ago in September, 1995. I started my first business in 1998, incorporated my second business in 2001, my third in 2002 and my fourth and most recent in 2006. I am a sponge — I am constantly exploring and learning — about business, design, programming, history, society, and whatever pops up on blogs across the web.
